Von Trothas Fahrt nach Südwest! is a photobook of mine dealing with Gen. von Trotha’s genocide against the indigenous people’s of DSWA who had rebelled in the early nineteen hundreds against German settlers’ encroachment. The book was short-listed at Kassel’s Fotobook Festival 2014 and later featured in photography festivals such as PhotoIreland and 3/3. Below are a sample of images from the book.
